Singularity of design. One-handed functionality.

The LGNDR tabletop tape dispenser is a design object that is both beautiful and functional. We start with a single piece of die-cast solid brass, which is then deburred and polished. The finished dispenser is a weighty centrepiece that stands handsomely on your desk or table. Steadfast and yet elegant.

Our intention was to create a flowing, organic design that harmonises with its surroundings rather than being dominant. The successful result is the upper curve of an ellipsoid. Weighing in at 2 kilograms.

The hexagonally shaped roller core is made of solid brass and echoes the iconic shape found in Legendär writing instruments. The cutting blade is replaceable and fixed with a brass screw. The underside of the dispenser is covered with a piece of suede to protect delicate surfaces.

As far as the dispenser's performance is concerned, it really doesn't move at all when you pull on the tape to roll it out. A tape dispenser that is so singular, it can conveniently be used with just one hand.
